About me
I'm a writer and a qualified copy-editor and proofreader and I have worked on over 300 books. I have written both fiction and non-fiction for a number of years and edited an academic journal between 2008 and 2015.
As a consequence, I became more and more interested in the editing and proofing process and, to further my knowledge and expertise in this field, in 2011, I enrolled on a proofreading training course with The Publishing Training Centre and completed the course with a Pass with Merit.
I have also completed the Introduction to Copy-editing course run by the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, Copy-editing skills with The Publishing Training Centre, and an Introduction to InDesign course with Certitiec, amongst others.
In addition, I have twenty years of experience working in a number of areas of the IT industry, including support, installations and training.
